The service

Submaker provides AI-generated captions and translations of audio playing in a browser tab you select. It requires a supported desktop browser and an internet connection. Accuracy and latency vary with the audio, language and AI service. Captions may contain errors, and some websites and protected players may not work. Review important translations independently.

Credit packs

Packs are one-time purchases, with no recurring subscription. One credit pays for one started minute of subtitles. The first credit is charged when a session starts successfully at the gateway; further credits are charged as additional minutes begin. Pausing or stopping prevents further minute charges. A minute already purchased continues to elapse while paused; partial minutes are not separately refunded as credits. Credits have no configured expiry.

Each purchase supplies a license key that can be activated in up to three browsers. Add each purchased key in the extension to combine the available balances in that browser. Credits are shared across the browsers using a key. Keep keys private: they provide access to the purchased credits. You can manage activations and find purchased keys through Polar's customer portal.

Payment and taxes

Displayed pack prices are in US dollars. Polar acts as merchant of record and processes checkout, receipts, applicable taxes and approved refunds. Checkout shows the final amount and applicable taxes before payment. Payment methods depend on your location, device and checkout eligibility. Polar's buyer terms also apply to the transaction.

Refunds and problems

Unused credit packs are refundable on request within 14 days of purchase. See the refund policy for details. If you are charged incorrectly, cannot activate a purchase, or experience a service failure, contact submakerservice@gmail.com with the purchase email and order reference. Do not send card details or your full license key.

Your content and privacy

Use Submaker only with content you are permitted to access and process. Starting subtitles sends the selected tab's audio to Google Gemini and subtitle text through Submaker's gateway for translation, as explained in the privacy policy. You control when capture starts and stops.

Your rights and support

These terms do not limit any mandatory consumer rights or remedies available under applicable law. For service, payment or privacy questions, email submakerservice@gmail.com. Submaker will update this page when its service or purchase terms change.
